Maksym Lavrynovych Participates in the World Economic Forum

Managing Partner of Lavrynovych & Partners Law Firm Maksym Lavrynovych visited on January 25 the 9th Ukrainian Lunch-Conference entitled “Ukraine: East or West – The Wrong Dilemma?” which was held in Davos, Switzerland.

The Conference included a discussion about the development of Ukraine and its relations with the neighboring countries, the EU and Customs Union, as well as the view of Ukraine’s and Europe’s key policies on the country’s future.

This year, among the participants of the discussion were Vice Prime Minister of Ukraine Yuriy Boyko, Ukraine’s Foreign Minister Leonid Kozhara, President of the ESADE Center for Global Economy and Geopolitics Javier Solana, Vice Prime Minister of the Republic of Kazakhstan Kairat Kalimbetov, Chairman of the Management Board of Sberbank of Russia Herman Gref, Members of the Ukrainian Parliament (Verkhovna Rada) Petro Poroshenko, Arseniy Yatseniuk, and Vitali Klitschko.

The Ukrainian Lunch-Conference in Davos is the largest event devoted to issues of Ukraine’s development, which is held annually on the occasion of the World Economic Forum. The meeting is held by the Viktor Pinchuk Foundation and International investment advisory group EastOne. The purpose of discussions organized within the Ukrainian Lunch-Conference is to shape an opinion of business and political circles worldwide of the tendencies in the development of modern Ukraine.
