Igor Siusel, Associate Partner of Lavrynovych & Partners Law Firm, took part in the 8th Annual Ukrainian Investment Summit held in London on April 19-20. The Summit was organized by the Adam Smith Institute, a leading non-profit organization promoting economic policies.
The event included a discussion on the general trends in the development of Ukrainian economy in the context of the impacts of the global financial crisis, the current state of the country’s investment climate, and priority investment areas. A separate discussion was devoted to the specific features of the development of Ukrainian metallurgy.
Among the speakers at the Summit was Prime Minister of Ukraine Mykola Azarov, Minister of Economy of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko, IMF Resident Representative in Ukraine Max Allier, EBRD Senior Adviser, Metals, Christopher Beauman, Ferrexpo CEO Kostyantyn Zhevago, Director of the mining and metallurgical business of System Capital Management Amir Aysautov, Managing Director of Morgan Stanley Ukraine Igor Mityukov, Vice President of Kraft Foods Ukraine Taras Lukachuk and others.
