Lavrynovych & Partners to Advise the Representative Office of GROHE AG in Ukraine
Lavrynovych & Partners Law Firm concluded the agreement on rendering legal services to the Representative Office of GROHE AG in Ukraine and will act as its legal counsel advising on matters of Ukrainian law.
The GROHE GROUP, including GROHE AG, is one of the world’s leading providers of branded sanitary fittings. Currently it is present in more than 130 countries. The GROHE GROUP operates three production plants in Germany, as well as further plants in other markets, and employs around 6,000 people worldwide. The team to work on the client’s projects will include the leading experts of the Firm led by Executive Partner Iryna Marushko.
Central Legal Clinic – Lavrynovych & Partners’ New Social Project
On March 1, the Central Legal Clinic will start to provide free legal assistance to individuals on a regular basis in Kyiv. The project is made possible thanks to the support of Lavrynovych & Partners Law Firm.
Any individual, who needs legal advice, can make an appointment and get free legal assistance on family, inheritance, employment, civil law matters. “The clinic will be available for initial consultation on the enforcement of law, procedures to protect the violated rights, registration of ownership”, – said the Head of the Central Legal Clinic (CLC), Associate Partner of Lavrynovych & Partners Law Firm Andriy Moroz.
Separate consultant in CLC will be assigned for the protection of children’s rights. “Unfortunately, nowadays little attention is paid to this issue, children in Ukraine are the most vulnerable segment of the people. We want to change that and bring attention to this issue”, – said Managing Partner of Lavrynovych and Partners Maksym Lavrynovych. Lawyers of Lavrynovych & Partners will also work in CLC as well as lawyers of those law firms that wish to join the project.
Senior students and graduates of law schools will be legal consultants in the CLC, supervised by leading lawyers of Lavrynovych & Partners. For young lawyers it is an excellent opportunity to gain practical experience side-by-side with experienced and recognized experts.

Lavrynovych & Partners Acts as Legal Counsel in Supporting Canadian Loan
Lavrynovych & Partners Law Firm acted as legal counsel on Ukrainian law issues in supporting of the transaction related to provision of the loan to Ukraine by Canada in the total amount of CAD 200 million.
The Loan Agreement was executed on September 17, 2014 between the Export Development Canada “EDC” as agent for Her Majesty the Queen in Right of Canada and Ukraine, represented by the Minister of Finance of Ukraine, acting on the instructions of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine, maturing in 2019.

Lavrynovych & Partners Defended Client’s Interests in Mortgage Dispute Worth USD 1 Million
Lavrynovych & Partners Law Firm successfully represented Client’s interests in litigation of the mortgage foreclosure on the three loan agreements amounting USD 1 million.
As a result of the trial the Court of First Instance rejected the bank to foreclose on the mortgaged property. The Kyiv Court of Appeal on March 11, 2014 upheld the decision of the Court of First Instance.
The essence of the dispute is the ability to foreclose on the mortgagee’s real property after the sale of the debtor’s property during the bankruptcy procedure. The Court agreed with the position of Lavrynovych & Partners’ lawyers that the rules of the Law of Ukraine “On Restoring Debtor’s Solvency or Declaring A Debtor Bankrupt” has priority over the Law of Ukraine “On Mortgage” in the bankruptcy litigation.
