Lavrynovych and Partners have been approved as a legal counsel by a new client – VTB Bank, a member of VTB Group. In September 2009 Lavrynovych and Partners Law Firm and VTB Bank signed a legal services agreement.

French company receives AMCU permission to buy СJSC «Dnipro Brewery»
Malteries Soufflet SAS (Nogent Sur Seine, France) received the consent of the Antimonopoly Committee of Ukraine (AMCU) to purchase of СJSC «Dnipro Brewery» (Dnipropetrovsk). Legal support for obtaining the consent was provided by L&P’s team headed by Mr. Stanislav Skrypnyck, Partner of the firm, and Mr. Dmytro Symanov associate.

Maksym Lavrynovych, Managing Partner, took part in the Fifth Annual Legal Forum «Development of Ukrainian Legal Services Market in 2009» as Moderator of the «Law Firm: Successful Patterns of Partnership» Session.
The Forum was held in the Radisson SAS Hotel, Kyiv, on February 20, 2009.
In his report, Lavrynovych underlined that a change in the attitude of law firms to risk was critical to their successful development.
French company receives AMCU permission to buy «Zhashkivskij elevator»
Soufflet Agriculture SAS (Nogent Sur Seine, France) received permission from the Antimonopoly Committee of Ukraine (AMCU) to buy OJSC «Zhashkivskij elevator» (Zhashkiv, Cherkassy reg.).
This ensures the purchaser 50% of votes in the highest authority of the issuer. Legal support for obtaining the permit was provided by L&P’s team headed by Mr. Stanislav Skrypnyck, Partner of the firm, and Mr. Volodymyr Misechko associate.
Lavrynovych & Partners Law Firm is listed 13th in the list of Best Law Firms in Ukraine 2008
On December 9, 2008, the Yuridicheskaya Praktika newspaper announced the results of an independent legal market survey. The goal of the survey was to identify the best law firms of Ukraine based on a number of criteria, such as revenue, number of corporate lawyers, efficiency, reputation etc.
According to the results of the 12th annual «Top 50 Law Firms in Ukraine 2008» research, Lavrynovych & Partners Law Firm is listed 18th in summary tables that include Ukrainian representative offices of international law firms and 13th line in the list of Ukrainian law firms.
It should be noted that this year is the first time when the Yuridicheskaya Practika listed representative offices and branches of international law firms operating in Ukraine in its survey «Top-50 law firms in Ukraine», which made much difference to overall picture.
